Samantha is a dance artist and educator based in Seattle, WA. Her artistic pursuits are rooted in the interwoven systems of rigor, humor, collaboration, and story telling.
Samantha received her education in dance from New World School of The Arts (High School Division, 2013) and The Boston Conservatory (BFA' 2017). Some of her career highlights include working with RicketySticks Dance Theater, Heape Troupe, SLOWBURN Dance Company, The Cunningham Trust, ICA Boston, acting as a curatorial panel member for 12 Minutes Max, and a co-founder of Seattle MVMNT Lab. As a performer, she has participated in festivals such as Texas Dance Improvisation Festival (2024), Red Hook Fest (2017), Seattle Bridge Project (2023), and more. As a creator, Samantha’s work has been presented by Boost Dance Festival (2025), Fertile Ground (2019), and Base Arts Space (2023-2024). Additionally, Samantha is a two-time grant award recipient for her contributions to Washington's Arts and Culture. |
